Having Certainty

I would rather put my trust on the certainty of Christ then the uncertainty of life.

Hebrews 4:7

He again specifies a certain day — today. He specified this speaking through David after such a long time:
Today, if you hear his voice,
do not harden your hearts.

According to this passage of scripture there is a certainty found in today. You cannot change what happened yesterday and you can only place hope in your tomorrows.

Today is in your grasp if you are reading this right now. To make positive changes in your life means that you have to take your attention off of your past. It also means that you cannot procrastinate of making positive changes in your life by stating I’ll do it tomorrow.

This is the day and the decisions you make today and I will impact how you see yourself years from now. Are you making decisions today that will impact your future or are you just putting it off?

The Psalmist David made it clear that if today you hear his voice do not harden your heart. Are you pleased with how your life is turned out at this point called today? What is it that God is trying to speak to you about concerning your life? What is the next step that you believe God is wanting you to take?

My mission is to fulfill God’s calling to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, seek the lost, prepare the saved, and equip the called until Christ returns.
